The internet is overflowing with stats and information backing up the claim that content marketing works: for example, 90% of customers find custom content useful and 68% read content from brands they like. The awesome power of visual storytelling is also impressive: Research shows that 90% of information sent to the brain is visual and that visual data is processed 60,000 times faster than text.
Brands are working hard to create visual content. But if you’re ready to take it to the next level, consider adding a little motion to your assets. Video, for example, is extraordinarily engaging and shareable. In fact, videos are shared 1,200% more than links and texts combined and video search results have a 41% better click-through rate than text.
And, it doesn’t require high-end production or substantive financial resources. It doesn’t even have to involve a video camera!
